Directions to the Islip - Macarthur Airport (ISP) Airport, including public transportation :

From the West : From the Long Island Expressway 495 take exit 57 South. At the 2nd light on the service road is Veterans Memorial 454. Turn right and travel 5 miles to Johnson Ave., then turn left into Airport entrance. *OR* On Southern State Parkway, take exit 44E to Sunrise Hwy 27 to exit 49. Continue on the service road to the 2nd light to Johnson Ave., then turn left on Johnson Ave. and travel north to the Airport.

From the East : On Sunrise Hwy take Exit 50A North on Johnson Ave and follow Johnson Ave to Airport entrance. *OR* If traveling on the Long Island Expressway: take exit 60 North service road and turn left off service road at 2nd light on Ronkonkoma Ave. Travel over the bridge. Once over the bridge, Ronkonkoma becomes Smithtown Ave. At the light, turn left on Lakeland Ave, then turn left at the next light onto Veterans Memorial Hwy. Now travel on Veterans Memorial Hwy until you reach Johnson Ave. where you will make a left to the Airport.

Directions from Port Jefferson Ferry : Leave Ferry Vehicle Lot and make Right onto Broadway. Make quick left onto Rte112. Turn RIGHT onto NY-347 West 4.3 miles.Turn LEFT onto NICOLLS RD. 0.2 miles.Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto POND PATH 1.1 miles.Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto STONY BROOK RD. 0.4 miles. STONY BROOK RD becomes HAWKINS AVE. 1.9 miles. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto RONKONKOMA AVE 1.9 miles. RONKONKOMA AVE becomes SMITHTOWN AVE 1.4 miles. Turn LEFT onto LAKELAND AVE 0.2 miles. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto VETERANS MEMORIAL HWY 0.9 miles. Turn LEFT onto JOHNSON AVE 0.3 miles. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto ARRIVAL AVE 0.4 miles (airport).

Or simpler but longer way : Rte 112 South (as above) until you get to Long Island Expressway (At least 10 miles) Go West on Long Island Expressway (495) towards NY until Exit 57 (Veterans Hwy) Go South On Veterans Hwy Until You see Airport Entrance on Left.
